These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of fieldgates.com and, where incorporated into an order or platform signup, the Fieldgates business review and execution services. "Fieldgates," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Fieldgates. "You" refers to the person or organization using the website or services.

By using the website or creating an account, you agree to these Terms and any additional terms presented for a specific plan, order, integration, or project. If you use Fieldgates for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.

The Fieldgates model

Fieldgates is an AI-powered business operating system for small businesses. The service can review a business, create research and recommendations, organize findings as prioritized tasks, and help execute eligible work through AI, human, or hybrid support.

The core commercial model is: Insights are free. Execution is paid.

Free accounts

A Free account may include onboarding, an initial business review, available research, a report, and a prioritized backlog preview. Free users can inspect recommendations and understand what Fieldgates would do next. A Free account does not include standard execution, deliverables, publishing, or ongoing managed workflows unless Fieldgates states otherwise in writing.

Paid plans

Starter, Growth, and Business plans add daily execution capacity and the coverage described at the time of purchase. Enterprise capacity, support, turnaround, coverage, and project work are scoped separately.

Daily capacity describes the number of eligible tasks that can move into execution each day. It is not a guarantee that every task will be completed that day. Timing may depend on complexity, task weight, owner input, access, approval, third-party systems, business hours, and plan coverage. Unused daily capacity does not roll over by default. If capacity is full, eligible activated work may wait for a later reset rather than creating an unannounced charge.

Recommendations and outcomes

Fieldgates uses available information to identify and prioritize work. Recommendations, confidence, expected impact, return-on-investment estimates, risk estimates, and timelines are decision support—not guarantees.

Business outcomes depend on factors Fieldgates does not control, including market conditions, competitors, customer behavior, platform policies, owner decisions, the accuracy of information provided, third-party availability, and implementation constraints. Fieldgates does not guarantee revenue, leads, traffic, search rankings, review changes, security outcomes, or other specific results.

Fieldgates does not provide legal, tax, accounting, investment, medical, or regulated professional advice. Tasks that raise those issues may require review by a qualified professional chosen by you.

Activation, access, and approval

Activating a task authorizes Fieldgates to begin the described work within applicable plan coverage. You are responsible for reviewing the task scope, required inputs, execution mode, destination, and approval needs.

You agree to provide accurate information, lawful materials, and only the access needed for the authorized work. You must have the right to provide any account, content, data, or instruction you share. Do not give Fieldgates credentials through unapproved channels.

Sensitive or public-facing tasks may require owner or authorized-user approval. Approval applies to the specific version and destination presented. It does not authorize unrelated future changes. Delayed input, expired access, or missing approval may pause work and affect timing without creating a new completion guarantee.

Plans, prices, and billing

Public self-serve prices are displayed in USD unless the checkout states otherwise. The current public plans are Free; Starter at $99 monthly or $990 annually; Growth at $249 monthly or $2,490 annually; Business at $399 monthly or $3,990 annually; and Enterprise at a custom price.

Annual Starter, Growth, and Business pricing equals ten months of the monthly rate and may be displayed as Save 17%. Taxes may apply. Billing frequency, renewal, cancellation, refunds, plan changes, and payment processing details presented at checkout or in an order form become part of these Terms.

Fieldgates may change pricing or plan features prospectively. Changes to a current paid subscription will be communicated as required by applicable law and the terms presented at purchase. Enterprise and custom projects may have separate orders, statements of work, minimum commitments, or change-control rules.

Acceptable use

You may not use the website or services to:

• violate law, regulation, another person’s rights, or a third-party platform’s terms;
• submit unlawful, deceptive, infringing, malicious, or harmful content or instructions;
• gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
• probe, disrupt, overload, or bypass security or access controls;
• distribute malware, spam, or abusive communications;
• misrepresent your identity, authority, business, or relationship with another person; or
• resell or reverse engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.

We may pause or restrict work that appears unsafe, unlawful, deceptive, outside scope, or dependent on missing authority.

Intellectual property

Fieldgates and its licensors retain rights in the website, platform, software, templates, methods, branding, and pre-existing materials. Subject to payment and any applicable order terms, you retain rights in materials you provide and receive the rights specified for client-specific deliverables.

You grant Fieldgates the limited rights needed to host, process, reproduce, adapt, and use materials and instructions to provide, secure, and improve the requested service. You represent that you have the rights needed to grant that permission.

Fieldgates will not publish your name, logo, testimonial, or confidential project details as a customer story without appropriate permission.

Confidentiality

Each party will use reasonable care to protect confidential information received in connection with paid or custom work and will use it only for the relationship, except where disclosure is authorized or required by law. Information is not confidential when it is public without breach, already known without restriction, independently developed, or lawfully received from another source.

Third-party services

Some tasks and platform features depend on third-party services such as search engines, business profiles, social networks, hosting providers, analytics platforms, payment processors, and connected accounts. Their availability, policies, and decisions are outside Fieldgates’ control. You remain responsible for complying with the terms that govern your third-party accounts.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the website, free review, recommendations, and services are provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis. Fieldgates disclaims implied warranties that cannot be supported by the agreed scope, including uninterrupted operation or fitness for a particular result. Statutory rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.

To the extent permitted by law, Fieldgates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising from the website or services. Any aggregate liability cap, exclusions, or service credits applicable to a paid plan or project should be stated in the checkout terms or order governing that engagement.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the website or Free account at any time. Paid-plan cancellation and renewal rules are presented at purchase. We may suspend access or execution when necessary to address non-payment, security risk, unlawful or abusive use, missing authority, or a material breach of these Terms.

After termination, provisions that by their nature should continue—including payment obligations, intellectual property, confidentiality, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—remain in effect.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any mandatory consumer or small-claims rights, disputes will be brought in the courts located in Ontario.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the website, platform, or commercial model changes. The updated date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated when required. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
